Green Garden Map Guide

Green Garden is the large garden map in JUST ONE MORE ASYM — open sightlines, scattered cover, and a central platform that tempts both Survivors and Adversaries into overcommitting. It pairs well with Guest stamina drills and Sniper zoning, but punishes teams that treat the center like a safe meeting point.

Green Garden appears often in pub queues because it looks spacious and forgiving. In practice, center control decides most rounds — Seeker Pounce chains and Firework Trailblaze love the open lanes.

Layout overview

Central platform

High visibility, high risk. Contesting mid without Sentinel peel feeds Adversaries. Use the platform only when your team owns it with Knight or Shielder.

Garden edges

Safer Survivor routes with props that break Seeker vision. Edge play is the default win condition for organized stacks.

Open lanes

Long sightlines favor Sniper and Spotter intel. Survivors crossing lanes need stamina reserves — see Stamina Management.

Survivor strategies

  1. Edge default — center is for coordinated pushes, not spawn wandering.
  2. Platform discipline — take mid only with frontline and caller approval.
  3. Break sight before sprinting — open garden lanes punish linear running vs Seeker.
  4. Regroup on edges before rotating through center.
  5. Respect Guilt — fewer tight loops than District; Adversaries cut exits on platform sides.

Character notes

  • Vocalist — place Speaker on edges; never center stage during Play.
  • Sniper — control platform approaches from garden perimeter.
  • Brawler — aggressive center picks only with Vocalist buffs and peel.
  • Doctor — heal from edge cover, not platform top.

Adversary strategies

  1. Platform pin — funnel Survivors off edges into center.
  2. Spotter marks crossing lanes for Firework Impact.
  3. Guilt + Sin — block platform exits while AI commits Charge.
  4. Chronos debuffs on lane crossings slow edge escapes.
  5. Do not chase one Survivor into full team stack on opposite edge.

Green Garden vs Guilt looping

Guilt can be looped on slow routes, but Green Garden’s open platform lets Adversaries cut loops easily. If you kite Guilt, orbit edges, not center. Full Aberrant guide: How to Beat Guilt.

Seeker is harder here — read How to Beat Seeker before marathon center runs.

Death Sentence and special rounds

Death Sentence turns Green Garden center into a blender. Survive first — do not contest platform for highlight reels. Gamemodes explains special round cadence (~every fifteen Standards).

Common mistakes

  • Healers standing on central platform “to see the team.”
  • Survivors sprinting across open lanes with empty stamina.
  • Adversaries diving edges alone while Seeker is far away.
  • Ignoring Sniper angles from garden perimeter.
  • Assuming spacious map means safe scatter — coordinated hunters still win 4v16.

Vocalist and Sniper edge meta

Green Garden perimeter is where Vocalist Speakers and Sniper angles shine — center is for coordinated Sentinel pushes only. Plan edge routes in spawn phase.

Guilt loop cuts

Adversaries pin platform exits while Guilt commits — Survivors kiting on edges must know second escape paths. Read How to Beat Guilt before orbiting center.

Practice plan

  1. Two matches — never stand center without two teammates.
  2. One Sniper match from garden perimeter only.
  3. Pair with Double Runes training for tighter loops.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about JOMA.

Is Green Garden Survivor-friendly?

For organized teams that play edges — yes. For scattered pub lobbies that hug center — no. Open sightlines favor hunters.

Should I fight on the central platform?

Only with frontline peel and a clear call. Unsupported center fights feed Seeker Pounce and Firework Trailblaze.

Which characters excel here?

Sniper for lane control, Knight/Shielder for platform holds, Vocalist for edge buffs. Guest learns stamina on perimeter routes.

How does Green Garden compare to District?

District offers urban cover; Green Garden offers open lanes and platform control. Seeker is often harder on Green Garden.
