Firework Guide

Firework is the fastest Adversary in JUST ONE MORE ASYM — a 1,000 Points Glass Cannon / Ambusher built on speed, chip damage, and one of the most terrifying ultimate abilities in the roster. At roughly 225 max HP (verify in your live build), Firework is fragile enough that even non-Sentinel Survivors can delete you — but played correctly, Firework never lets pressure drop until Survivors break or DETONATE ends the round.

In Standard 4v16 matches, three player Adversaries support one AI Aberrant hunting sixteen Survivors. Firework’s job is shock infantry: cut paths with Trailblaze fire, ragdoll targets with Impact, and chip health with Bash until DETONATE’s map-wide explosion is online. Firework is not a brain-dead sprint character — every ability inflicts self-damage, and Autorepairs only heal from damage you deal.

Abilities overview

Bash

Sprint-only shove for 7 damage and minor knockback at 12 stamina cost. Miss applies heavy slowness to you — bait Survivor counters, then punish with Impact. Spam Bash to stay above zero HP via Autorepairs, but never near ledges on Cloud Nine.

Trailblaze

Sprint 35% faster at 2.5× stamina consumption, leaving burning trails for 12 seconds. Self-damage while running is substantial — you are trading HP for map control. Use Trailblaze to block exits and chip groups, not only to chase one Survivor forever.

Impact

Crouch, leap toward cursor, explode on impact for 30 area damage plus 15 direct hit damage, ragdoll, stagger, and stall — at the cost of 35 self-damage and self-ragdoll. Impact is your ambush opener early match and your punish tool after Bash baits counters.

DETONATE

After dealing 85 damage, activate a timed combustion sequence ending in a 400 damage, 120 stud explosion plus global stagger, stall, stamina drain, and non-lethal chip. Cannot activate under 60 seconds round timer. This is Last Man Standing insurance — but Firefighter Flamethrower during DETONATE deletes you if you play careless.

Passives

Explosive Nature75 true damage explosion 2 seconds after death in 60 stud radius. Survivors can escape if you die alone in open ground — staying alive is usually better. Autorepairs — store repair from damage dealt; consumed to regenerate HP. Disabled during DETONATE.

Why unlock Firework at 1000 P

  • Fastest Adversary movement — unmatched chase pressure.
  • Teaches stamina budgeting for hunter mains before 2,000 P Chaser & Sin.
  • Strong with Seeker Aberrant — double chase nightmares for disorganized Survivors.
  • DETONATE wins LMS if you stack damage early without dying.
  • B tier on Tier List — skill expression without 3000 P price tag.

Playstyle pillars

  1. Chip, then commit — Autorepairs reward damage dealt, not reckless Impact misses.
  2. Trailblaze for map control — block lanes, not only marathon chases.
  3. Pair with Aberrant — Firework alone dies to Knight trades; with Seeker, Survivors panic.
  4. Track dangerous Survivors — Firefighter + Jester and Sniper headshots one-shot you from full HP.
  5. DETONATE with a plan — 60-second timer is a commitment; keep Bash active during sequence.

Map habits

District — Trailblaze parking lot exits to funnel Survivors toward Seeker. Cloud Nine — Impact ambushes across bridges; watch ledge Bash risks. Green Garden — open sightlines favor Trailblaze area denial over long Impact windups in center.

Firework vs Chaser

Both are rushdown picks. Chaser (2,000 P) mirrors Seeker with Instability stamina drain — better Aberrant synergy at higher cost. Firework wins raw speed and DETONATE team wipes; Chaser wins sustained duel pressure. See Chaser & Sin before spending 2,000 P.

Common mistakes

  • Impact from max HP into Knight cleave range.
  • DETONATE at round start without damage banked.
  • Ignoring Explosive Nature — dying in Doctor stack still feeds 75 damage if they do not scatter.
  • Solo hunting while Aberrant is on opposite side of Double Runes.
  • Zero stamina panic — Firework has the lowest Adversary stamina pool.
