Survivor tier list

TierSurvivorsNotes
SKnight, HemomancerKnight is the only Survivor with M1 attacks and excellent tanking; Hemomancer offers advanced blood-magic support.
ADoctor, Shielder, SniperDoctor is the best healer; Shielder protects the team; Sniper controls zones from range.
BSheriff, Vocalist, Brawler, Wrecker, ManiacWrecker added Aug 2026 with disruptive control kit; Maniac is a high-skill snowball with high peak damage but punishing Exhaustion recovery.
CGuest, Firefighter, AssistantGuest is situational post-rework (10/10 stamina reports Jul 2026) — strong tempo lab, not meta peel. Firefighter and Assistant need specific comps.
DNoob, JesterFree starter characters — good for learning. See Noob Guide before rushing paid unlocks.

Adversary tier list

TierAdversariesNotes
SApprentice, FlarereaverBoth cost 3,000 P but offer the strongest kits — Apprentice summons allies, Flarereaver traps areas.
AChaser, SinHigh-damage rushdowns that pair well with Seeker and Guilt Aberrants. Chaser’s Instability punishes sloppy trades; Sin’s wall-bypass Landslide and Charge excel with Guilt AI. See Chaser & Sin.
BHunter, Chronos, FireworkStrong utility — Hunter traps, Chronos debuffs, Firework is the fastest Adversary. See Firework Guide.
CExecutioner, DullahanGood damage dealers but require more skill to use effectively.
DSpotter, AnarchistFree starters — Spotter teaches surveillance (Spotter Guide); Anarchist for learning aggression.

Best character combos

Survivor combos

  • Knight + Doctor — Knight tanks while Doctor heals.
  • Shielder + Sniper — Shielder protects Sniper while Sniper zones enemies.
  • Vocalist + Brawler — Vocalist buffs Brawler’s aggression.
  • Knight + Wrecker — Wrecker disrupts, Knight follows up on the openings.
  • Shielder + Maniac — Shielder peel protects Maniac during Exhaustion recovery.

Adversary combos

  • Chaser + Sin — Both rush down survivors quickly with the Seeker Aberrant. Best when the AI matches your mirror (Seeker + Chaser or Guilt + Sin); see Chaser & Sin guide.
  • Hunter + Chronos — Trap and debuff survivors for easy kills.
  • Apprentice + Flarereaver — Control the entire map with summons and traps.

Wrecker — August 2026 addition

Wrecker (850 P) was added August 25, 2026 — a Disruptor/Zoner with shotgun, grenade, and rocket launcher. The kit applies Stagger, Stun, and Ragdoll rather than direct damage, making Wrecker a control character in B tier. Wrecker needs coordinated follow-up damage to be effective; in pub lobbies without team support, the kit underperforms its theoretical value. Full breakdown: Wrecker Guide.

Maniac — Power of Five playtest

Maniac (900 P) is a Frontliner/Damager with Rage/Exhaustion mechanics. At full Rage, Maniac deals 33%% more damage, takes 33%% less, and has shorter cooldowns. The catch: above 70%% Rage you accumulate Exhaustion, and hitting 100%% Exhaustion stuns you for 3.5 seconds. Maniac sits in B tier — higher peak damage than Knight but a punishing recovery window that requires team support to manage safely. Full breakdown: Maniac Guide.

Guest after stamina rework

Guest (~600 P) moved into community discussion again after July 2026 balance chatter equalized stamina recovery and consumption — often cited as 10/10. That makes Guest one of the best characters for learning Stamina Management tempo, but it does not auto-promote the kit out of C tier.

Guest remains situational because Support / Disruptor value still loses to Doctor healing, Shielder peel, and Knight frontend wins in most pub lobbies. Buy Guest when you want mobile annoyance after fundamentals — not when you need your first paid carry. Full breakdown: Guest Guide.

Pair Guest with Shielder so your stamina skill translates into team wins, not solo flanks.

Chaser and Sin after June 2026 tuning

Chaser and Sin sit in A tier because they mirror live Aberrant pressure at 2,000 P. After June 2026 Guilt Landslide rework and Seeker AI passes, both picks gained value in lobbies that roll matching Aberrants — Chaser for double chase, Sin for double commit and loop breaks.

Chaser drops if Survivors punish Instability stamina drain consistently. Sin drops on open maps where Survivors maintain distance without Charge reads. Full breakdown: Chaser & Sin and How to Beat Guilt.
